Genetically the Seal Sepia is cb/cb meaning it has 2 copies of the Burmese gene.
Kittens are born with strong, visible markings right away.
The Sepia's base coat is the darkest of the snows—ivory to light tan—with rich brown or dark seal markings. Sepia snow bengals have the warmest and darkest coat coloration of the snow Bengals, often mistaken for a light brown Bengal but with a softer tone.
This color was an intentional introduction into the gene pool to create a more contrasted Snow Bengal.
The beautiful Sepia Bengal can have gold or green eyes.
Here at ZawieCo, we are not producing any Seal Sepia at this time. Although our girls carry for Sepia, our boys do not.
